As the researchers had put a step forward in expanding the approaches of metabolomics, where metabolomics is useful in determining the major difference between healthy and unhealthy sharks with considering the presence of homarine concentration in the serum, as homarine is used as a biomarker to find out the health status of the sharks. They have even identified more than 25 compounds which vary in concentrations based upon the individual’s health.This metabolomic studies even helps in finding out the chemical compounds present in the shark’s blood in no time.
